Product Description
WL-5002C is a general purpose unsaturated polyester resin with medium viscosity and moderate reactivity.
Application
WL-5002C resin is widely used inarious glass fiber reinforced products. Mainly used in pultrusion, winding and other molding processes. Suitable for pultruded tent poles, rods, kite poles and other products.

Curing conditions: 24 hours at room temperature, 2 hours each at 40°C, 60°C, and 80°C.

Instructions and attentions
1. When WL-5002C resin is used in the pultrusion process, the curing system should be selected according to the specific equipment, products, process temperature, pultrusion speed and other factors. Generally recommended: BPO 0.5%~2.0%; TBPB 0.5~1.5%.
2. The volume shrinkage rate of unsaturated polyester resin is very large. When pulling large diameter rods, it is recommended to wrap with felt; when pulling thick profiles, it is recommended to use low shrinkage additives such as 3814 and 3892 provided by Wanglin New Materials. Some low shrinkage additives are not compatible with WL-5002C, and there will be stratification when used, but this is a normal phenomenon. When using, be sure to add it immediately and stir it evenly.
3. When using, be sure to control the water content of materials such as glass fiber, filler, pigment paste, etc., and pay attention to the compatibility of pigment paste with unsaturated polyester resin.
Storage conditions
1. Before use, the resin should be stored in the original packaging (to avoid opening and damaging the barrel) in a dry room below 25°C.
2. The increase in temperature and exposure to light will significantly shorten the storage period. Avoid direct sunlight and keep away from heat sources during storage.
3. Unsaturated polyester resin liquid containing styrene is flammable and should be stored away from open flames.Please refer to the safety data sheet.
