Product Description
WL-1605C is a pentaerythritol unsaturated polyester resin with medium viscosity, high reactivity, good heat resistance, impact resistance, and excellent electrical properties, suitable for SMC/BMC products.
Application
WL-1605C resin is specially designed for SMC/BMC production processes. It is widely used in automotive, sports equipment, electrical, and construction industries. WL-1605C has stable thickening performance, and when combined with low-shrinkage, low-profile additives such as WL-3814 and WL-3892, it can be formulated into standard low-shrinkage SMC/BMC.

Instructions and attentions
WL-1605C is typically used in conjunction with WL-3814 for the production of low-shrinkage molded plastics. Normally, the ratio of WL-1605C to WL-3814 is 70:30, although adjustments can be made according to specific requirements. Depending on the final product's dimensional demands, 300ppm to 600ppm of p-benzoquinone can be added to the formulation (calculated based on the total amount of resin and low-shrinkage additive).
Storage conditions
1. Before use, the resin should be stored in the original packaging (to avoid opening and damaging the barrel) in a dry room below 25°C.
2. The increase in temperature and exposure to light will significantly shorten the storage period. Avoid direct sunlight and keep away from heat sources during storage.
3. Unsaturated polyester resin liquid containing styrene is flammable and should be stored away from open flames.Please refer to the safety data sheet.
